Amoreena Mann, creative arts psychotherapist

I’m Amoreena Mann, a creative arts psychotherapist and meditation expert

I'm a creative arts psychotherapist and meditation expert with a focus in holistic and intuitive approaches for healing through trauma, depression, pregnancy & postpartum related issues, and anxiety.  My expertise in the latest research on visualisation-based meditation and its application with traumatised individuals places me in a unique position to inform on holistic methods to respond to complex circumstances.

My approach is comprehensive, tailoring the techniques used to each individual's unique journey and needs.  My training is in Visualization-based Meditation, Breathwork, Sherborne technique, Lucid Body technique, Skinner Release, Jungian psychoanalysis and I hold a masters level qualification in Drama and Movement Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.

I have spent several years doing therapeutic play with refugee’d children through the Flying Seagull Project and have run groups for refugee’d adolescents referred for behavioural issues and children with autism. I've taught several Self Harm to Self Care courses for parents, children and young people, with experience as an arts teacher in a charter school for children from gang related backgrounds in Los Angeles and I now lecture in universities alongside my therapy practice.
